The LED GlowDog is a retractable leash for the dark months. A torch at the tape opening lights up the path ahead, and a light ring on the housing makes you and your dog visible to cyclists and cars sooner. Vico tested it on his evening walks in the woods, as the product photos show.
Light where you need it
- Torch at the front: sits right where the tape comes out and shines in the direction your dog is walking.
- Side light ring: glows in several colours around the power button, clearly visible from the side.
- Power button: in the middle of the housing, responds to a light press.
The leash
- Lock slider on top of the handle: holds the tape at the length you want.
- Automatic retraction: the flat tape winds itself back in and does not sag.
- Metal snap hook for attaching to a harness or collar.
- Handle with a soft, coloured inner grip.
Who it suits
Ideal for small and medium sized dogs and for anyone out early in the morning or in the evening. The handle is fairly compact and may feel tight for very large hands. In town and near roads we recommend locking the tape short.
