The UltiLeash is an everyday retractable leash: short by the road, long in the meadow, without having to shift your grip. The flat tape winds itself back in and does not sag, so your dog is less likely to get tangled.
How it works
- Stop button: One press of the thumb holds the tape at any length.
- Lock slider: Locks the tape in place, for example when crossing a road or passing other dogs.
- Automatic retraction: When your dog comes back, the tape winds itself back in.
- Swivel clip: The metal snap hook rotates, so the tape twists less.
- Handle: Shaped handle with a rubberised inner grip and finger grooves, easy to hold even with gloves on.
3 or 5 metres?
The 3 metre version is the handier choice for neighbourhood walks and paths with traffic. The 5 metre version gives more freedom in open spaces, on field paths and on hikes.
Good to know
A retractable leash always keeps a little forward pull on the dog. For leash training a young dog, a fixed leash is often the better choice. In town and near roads we recommend locking the tape short. Ideally, attach the leash to a well fitting harness.
